We’re delighted to say that Stone Lane Architects is now a shareholder in the Ashton Court Mansion Community Share Offer.
The Grade I listed Mansion is on Historic England’s Heritage at Risk Register, and about three quarters of it is currently derelict. The Ashton Court Mansion Trust, a community benefit society run by volunteers, is leading a plan to bring it back to life. That includes the Long Gallery as an events venue, affordable artist studios in the former servants’ quarters, and a history and learning space in De Lyons Hall.
Much of our work is breathing new life into historic buildings, so being a small part of this one, as investors rather than architects, felt like an opportunity we couldnt miss.
More than 400 people have already bought shares, and we’d love to see more Bristol businesses join them. Shares start at £100, businesses can invest as long as they name someone to represent them, and every member gets one vote however much they invest. The offer closes on 31 December 2026.
